Not only will I refund your money, I'll do a live Zoom call with you for 3 sessions to personally teach you!!
Remember, you must first COMPLETE the 6 hour training first. If you're not looking to learn Final Cut and how to edit, this course just isn't for you.
How is "Editing is Excellent" different than other editing courses?
This course focuses solely on editing a narrative, short film. It's also shorter than other courses. It's designed to teach you through repetition, so you'll RETAIN what you learn. I wanted to make a course that you only go through once, and have ways to reference or practice editing between projects, when you don't have the footage to.
Do I have to go out and shoot footage before taking the "Editing is Excellent" Course?
Nope! we'll be editing a short film together! All the footage needed will be provided to you.
Is "Editing is Excellent FCP Course" a "live" training?
No, it's a prerecorded training course with tutorials you can start immediately, and do in your own time, at your own pace. Designed to be done for about an hour a day, for 6 or 7 days consecutively. It's up to you how quickly or slowly you want to take it, however, it's NOT recommended to do in one day or taking long weekly breaks in between lessons.
Will "Editing is Excellent" teach me to "master" video editing?
Truthfully, I don't know. This course isn't about "mastering" Final Cut Pro, it's about learning what's needed to be useful to edit your narrative projects, as well as easier, simpler videos (which is most). Most people who drive don't know every single function in their car, and they don't need to. You won't learn EVERY single shortcut key, or the 20 ways to do the same thing. I wanted to keep it simple, direct, and easy to remember. It's made for filmmakers, not a course to become a video editor (though, you can use your new skills for that!)
How long is the "Editing is Excellent" course?
There are programs out there with hundreds of hours of lessons and tutorials. I didn't want that. I'm busy and made this for other busy folks.
The course is about 6 hours total in length. Almost all of the tutorials are broken down into bite-sized videos, 5 minutes or under. Most people can finish it, by doing a module a day, for 6, or 7 days...so, about an hour of your time each day, for about a week.
I have another question not listed here...
If you have any questions, please email me at [email protected]. I'm just one person trying to help as many people as I can learn Final Cut Pro and how to edit their short films. Can't wait to hear from you!
